Concrete Resurfacing

Concrete Resurfacing most commonly is used when referring to the application of coloured cement toppings over outdoor concrete areas such as concrete driveways, concrete patios, concrete pool surrounds, etc. This process is commonly referred to as concrete stencilling, which often accurately reflects the process although there is no need with this system to actually do a stencil design, you may simply just want a coloured coating or something simple without patterns. There are many different types of concrete coatings, ranging from Concrete Paints or Coloured Concrete Sealers to Epoxy Floor Coatings.

Concrete Resurfacing is best known as concrete stencilling although you need not have to actually apply any stencils. Many designs nowadays have trended towards simple designs with minimum patterns. There are a number of brandings out there which all represent this same technique, such as Style Pave Resurfacing, Covacrete, Flocrete and many more.

This does become confusing but really most of these brands are the essentially the same product, just different brandings. There are a few products out there advertising the same finish, but are not cement based, these are inferior products though so one must be sure they are getting a quality cement based resurfacing agent.
