Start with the job the concrete must do
Commercial concreting is not one-size-fits-all. A warehouse floor, car park, loading area, retail entry and building foundation may all use concrete, but each places different demands on the surface and the structure beneath it.
A warehouse slab may need to tolerate point loads from racking legs, repeated forklift traffic and hard-wearing tyre movement. A car park needs suitable falls to move water away, clear traffic zones and a finish that performs in wet conditions.
